Kat is a strategy and innovation expert who has developed a variety of innovation programs that bring together the richness of open data sets, the values of human-centered design, and the leading-edge methodology of leading startup incubators. She has designed innovation challenges in the healthcare and social spaces, managed a portfolio of companies at a venture accelerator for women-led startups, and advised early stage ventures on strategy, business models, and fundraising. Kat holds a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and she currently lives in Venice, CA.
